| 1.

Shall continually grow and mature as an information professional by being
involved and invited to participate in ScINET-PHIL activities, such as: |

a. ScINET-PHIL Annual Congress and
other technical working group Meetings
b. Scientific conferences, workshops, and symposia
c. Task forces and special teams to work on special issues on S&T information
networking, and,
d. Annual search for outstanding member (individual and institutional Category) |
2. |
Shall receive technical support in
networking endeavors and resource sharing activities and dissemination of
S&T information. |
3. |
Shall receive, whenever available,
copies of the various publications of ScINET-PHIL Requirements/Criteria
for Membership in ScINET-PHIL |

| A
candidate or an applicant for membership should be: |
1. |
A permanent employee of a DOST agency
or Regional Office. |
2. |
A degree holder in library or information
science and other related fields. |
3. |
Currently working/ involved in library
and S&T information activities fields and other related fields. |
4. |
Recommended by the DOST agency director
or Regional director to the Chairman, EXECOM, ScINET-PHIL |
